TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Issue 1: Having difficulties hearing the presentation or cannot hear the presentation at all.
Solution #1: Make sure your device has sound enabled, and your speakers are turned on or your headphones are firmly connected.

Solution #2: Make sure you did not lose Internet connectivity.

Solution #3: Make sure you have a strong connection with sufficient bandwidth (1 mbps or higher).
Issue 2: Video is frozen, choppy, blurry or cannot see video stream.
Solution #1: Try clicking the “Play Button” (triangle button) to begin the presentation or to ensure the stream is not paused.

Solution #2: Try reloading your browser (F5).

Solution #3: Make sure you did not lose Internet connectivity.

Solution #4: Make sure you have a strong connection with sufficient bandwidth (1 mbps or higher).

Solution #5: If you are using a PC or Mac please ensure that your browser zoom level is set to 100% as the presentation is best viewed at that setting. This option can be found in the tools or view menu.

Solution #6: Our player will automatically select stream quality based on current network conditions. If your video looks blurry, it means your current available bandwidth isn't high enough to support our highest levelstream.

Solution #7: Make sure you aren't running excess applications, tabs, streaming other content or downloading large files in the background.
Issue 3: Cannot see the content or video is full screen.
Solution #1: If your iPhone is running iOS 9 or earlier, the video content plays full-screen and will override all other content of our player. Please upgrade to iOS 10+ for best results.

Solution #2:
Make sure you did not lose Internet connectivity.

Solution #3: XYVID Pro is best viewed in Portrait Mode on mobile devices.
Issue 4: Hearing an "echo", or the sound twice.

This is typically because two browsers with the live stream are opened, so it is actually playing twice with a slight offset.
Solution: Close all browsers and re-open content by clicking on link once (to ensure it only opens once)
Issue 5: Black box or missing video box (no video stream) - typical reason is trying to access through a network that does not allow streaming, or using ad-blocking/cookie-blocking software, or their browser isn't updated or doesn't allow flash
Solution # 1: Try reloading your browser (F5).

Solution #2: First try opening content in a different browser (meaning if trying through Firefox, then try through Chrome) - this fixes 90% of the time the issue.

Solution #3: Disable all ad-blockers, cookie blockers, etc. Do not use Private Browsing/Incognito mode.

Solution #4: If you are connecting through a VPN, disconnect from your VPN and try again.

Solution #5: Try using a different network to access content (some work networks block the content).

Solution #6: Try disconnecting your phone from the Wi-Fi, and try connecting through your smartphone.
Issue 6: Audio is coming in "stuttered" or video is stalling
Solution #1: Try watching a lower bandwidth using the bandwidth selector at bottom right of player, their network is most likely slow

Try on a different network

Solution #3:
If you are connecting through a VPN, disconnect from your VPN and try again
Issue 7: Can see video, but no audio
Solution #1: Make sure both the volume in the player is located at the bottom left of the video box and the audio for their computer is turned on.

Solution #2:

Issue 8: Text chat box has a spinning circle, but cannot see chat.
Solution #1: Try in a different browser.

Solution #2:
The internet network being used is slow.  try disconnecting your smartphone from Wi-Fi, and connect using your phone.
Mobile Users: Text chat box is not showing on mobile device
Solution: Click on the “Action Center” icon (lower right of the screen – Heart Icon) and click the arrow on the ”Chatroom” Icon  to launch the chat feature
